Women in Accounting
The FSU College of Business chapter of Women in Accounting was organized during the Spring 2009 semester to address the unique challenges facing women entering the accounting field.
Mission statement: To inform women of the various opportunities in the accounting field, connect them with potential employers, and aid in turning those opportunities into careers. Women in Accounting represents aspiring young professionals in the field of accounting at FSU. We are dedicated to providing members with the knowledge, leadership skills, and professionalism desired in the business world today.
Our meetings and events bring unparalleled networking opportunities with recruiters from top firms, companies and organizations such as: The US Women's Chamber of Commerce, KPMG, Ernst & Young, PricewaterhouseCoopers, IRS, Thomas Howell Ferguson, McGladrey and the American Women's Society of Certified Public Accountants (AWSCPA).
