  • Ranked No. 6 in the world among the leading publishers in the top 26 journals in finance
  • Ranked as the second most prolific publisher in finance based on 72 finance journals. He also ranks 26th based on 16 Core finance journals.
  • Recipient of the FSU College of Business’ 2010 Distinguished Doctoral Alumni Award

William L. Megginson

’86, Ph.D., Finance

  • Professor and Rainbolt Chair in Finance at University of Oklahoma’s Michael F. Price College of Business
  • Ranked in the top 80 most prolific publishers based on Journal of Finance equivalent pages appearing in 21 finance journals
  • Internationally recognized expert on the subject of listing privatized-firm shares on American stock markets
  • Recipient of the FSU College of Business’ first annual Distinguished Doctoral Alumni Award in 2007
