International Business Association
Welcome to the International Business Association at Florida State University!
The International Business Association at Florida State University is dedicated to preparing its members for careers in international business. Through corporate tours, current events discussions, community service, and fundraising, the International Business Association provides a way for members to network and learn about exciting careers in the field of international business. Our meetings are generally in the Starry Conference Room in Rovetta B. If you are interested in joining, please feel free to send us an e-mail and we will add you to the mailing list. We accept new members throughout the year, so please feel free to join us at our next meeting.

By far the largest of our events, the International Business Association corporate tours provide amazing opportunities for members to visit Fortune 500 companies and get a personal view of the corporate world. We feel it is crucial for our members to graduate with the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed. Our corporate tours provide some exposure to numerous industries with international ties. Past tours have included visits to companies in New York, Silicon Valley, Washington, Miami, Atlanta, Boston, and Tampa.
Dues and Benefits
By becoming a member of the International Business Association, you will be entering a club which is dedicated to its members. We are an RSO, which means we can provide all of the benefits associated with being a registered organization at Florida State. In addition to the many professional and social advantages membership provides, our members also receive:
1. Member T-Shirt - New members are given t-shirts when they pay their dues (while supplies last). We will wear these shirts during IBA events including charity and fundraising event.
2. Resume List - Every member who pays dues will be placed in the resume booklet which will be handed out to each corporation we visit on our corporate tours. This is a great way of gaining exposure to corporations.
3. Mail List - You will be added to the mailing list which may contain internship opportunities and announcements.
4. Alumni Network - IBA is still a growing organization on campus, as such we have a small but very influential alumni network. Some of our alumni corporate relations include Goldman Sachs, Shell Gasoline, Bank of America, and Ernst and Young.
Annual dues are $35 for new members, and $25 dollars for returning members.
