The Center for Insurance Research invites you to attend our 2nd Interdisciplinary Health Insurance Symposium:

Where is Equilibrium in the Health Insurance Market, and How Do We Get There?

This symposium will include industry leaders, regulators and academia in a discussion of current activities and concerns from the respective demand and supply sides of the health insurance market. Speakers include: Eric C. Nordman, Director of Regulatory Services, National Association of Insurance Commissioners, John Lacy, CIC, CRM, Vice President, Group Benefits Division, Bouchard Insurance, Inc., Robin Smith Westcott, Esq., State of Florida, Insurance Consumer Advocate, Ken Stevenson, Legislative Chair, Florida Association of Health Underwriters, Dr. Michael Garner, President/CEO, Florida Association of Health Plans, Dr. Lars Powell, Whitbeck-Beyer Chair of Insurance and Financial Services, Univ. of Arkansas-Little Rock, and Dr. James Hilliard, Assistant Professor, Department of Risk Management and Insurance, Univ. of Georgia. A follow-up afternoon session will bring together researchers from across campus to discuss sources of data and current research activities.
