Alumni & Professional Community

Our distinguished alumni hold prominent positions and ascend in their careers throughout their professional communities. We, the Risk Management and Insurance, Real Estate, and Legal Studies Department at Florida State, recognize the notable achievements and salient positions of our valued alumni.

In recognition of our goal to sculpt current students into successful pillars in society, many of our alumni give back to the Department in several ways, such as serving on the respective board of advisors for risk management and insurance and real estate. We receive generous donations to further the development of the students who will soon emerge into these fields.

The Department is blessed with Endowed Chairs, Professorships, and scholarships thanks to the continual support our munificent alumni. Financial donations allow for our professors to continue with research valuable to their fields. Our centers, such as The Center for Real Estate Education and Research, The Center for Insurance Research, and the Florida Catastrophic Storm Risk Management Center, rely upon these contributions to bring speakers for students, host conferences, and attract renowned experts in these fields.
