REAL ESTATE SOCIETY AT FSU

The purpose of the Real Estate Society is to provide opportunities for members to enhance their knowledge of the Real Estate industry through first-hand activities and contact with Real Estate professionals in a variety of fields.

RES meetings are generally held every two to three weeks during the fall and spring semesters. Each meeting will typically feature a professional speaker in such a field as appraisal, development, lending, law, investment, brokerage, consulting, design, or construction. Each meeting will last approximately one hour and is usually followed with a social activity.

A Corporate Tour is organized by the Society each semester. These trips are designed not only to allow the members to gain first-hand knowledge from respected professionals in the industry, but also to help introduce members to potential employers. In recent semesters, the Society has traveled to Tampa, Orlando, Jacksonville, Atlanta, Miami, Las Vegas and Nashville to visit major developers, property managers, fund advisors, appraisers, REITs, brokers, leasing agents, and more. The location and travel dates of each trip will be determined during RES meetings early in the semester.

For more information, please contact the officers.
