Application process
Getting Started
The following information is needed to complete your FSU graduate application. Please review this application checklist to determine what will be submitted online and what you must mail to Florida State University. All applicants are expected to have a general knowledge of economics, finance, accounting, statistics, calculus and management principles.
Application Checklist:
The following information is provided to clarify the application procedures for MBA programs in The College of Business.
I. The following two items should be sent directly to FSU
- University Application for Admission to a Graduate Program (available exclusively online https://admissions.fsu.edu/gradapp/)
- Nonrefundable application fee of $30.00 (see University Application). Pay online at http://fees.fsu.edu.
II. The following three items should be sent to the Admissions office
- Two official transcripts from all schools attended
- Florida Resident Affidavit (see University Application or http://admissions.fsu.edu/images/pdf/residency.pdf)

III. The following items should be sent directly to the FSU College of Business through the online admissions application
- Applicant Statement (uploaded in the online application)
- An up-to-date resume, clearly indicating work experience including dates and positions held, as well as noting full-time or part-time employment (uploaded in the online application)
- On campus MBA: Three (3) recommendations from former college professors or employers (submitted by the recommenders in the online application)
- Online MBA: Two (2) recommendations from former college professors or employers (submitted by the recommenders in the online application)

- Official GMAT scores and, if applicable, a copy of TOEFL scores
International applicants should visit http://admissions.fsu.edu/international/admissions/graduate.cfm for information concerning financial responsibilities, degree equivalency, etc.
Deadlines
Choose the schedule that best meets your needs.
- Online MBA and part-time/evening MBA - The program admits in the fall, spring and summer terms.
- The summer term begins in early May. The deadline for receipt of ALL application materials for the summer online MBA program is March 1.
- The fall term begins in late August. The deadline for receipt of ALL application materials for the fall online MBA program is June 1.
- The spring term begins in early January. The deadline for receipt of ALL application materials for the spring online MBA program is October 1.
Accelerated MBA - The deadline for submission of all application materials is February 1.
The program admits in the summer term only (early May).These deadlines are for receipt of all required materials. In order to meet these deadlines, you should plan to take the GMAT at least one semester prior to applying for admission.
