Master of Science in Marketing (MSM)

The objective of the Master of Science in Marketing (MSM) at Florida State University’s College of Business is to train and graduate students prepared to manage the complexities faced by today’s global organizations. Managing supply chain operations and professional sales are critical to any organization’s success. MSM students may choose to pursue one of the following two concentrations:

Global Supply Chain Management (GSCM) Concentration

  • Managing the flow of physical goods, services and information
  • Assessing critical cost and service tradeoffs under various circumstances
  • Integrating upstream and downstream segments involving sourcing, transportation, operations, logistics, distribution, customer service and fulfillment
  • Incorporating global supply chain into a company’s corporate strategy

Professional Sales Leadership (PSL) Concentration

  • Leading and coaching individual sales representatives to high-performance levels
  • Making strategic decisions at the macro and sales-force level
  • Integrating the dynamics of customer-relationship management into sales-force management
  • Incorporating sales management into a company’s corporate strategy
