Registration - http://campus.fsu.edu
- Registration window opens on Monday, Dec. 20, 2010, at 8 a.m. and closes on Friday, Jan. 3, 2010, at midnight.
- One month before registration begins students will receive an e-mail giving specific course registration information.
Course and Graduate Student Communication Organization access
Blackboard, located at http://campus.fsu.edu is the university academic portal. Blackboard provides the university community a secure environment to access your courses and the COB Graduate student organizations. One tab in Blackboard takes you to Secure Applications to transact university business.

Mandatory 1st Day Attendance Policy
- University policy requires all students to attend the first day of class for each of their courses. "Attending" for a distance learner is defined by making contact with the instructor per the instructor's directions at the beginning of the term. Students who do not attend the first class meeting of a registered course will be dropped from the course by the academic department that offers the course. This policy applies to all levels of courses and to all campuses and study centers. It remains the student's responsibility to verify course drops and to check that fees are adjusted.

- Tuition payment for spring 2011 is due on Jan. 14, 2010. If fees are not paid by Jan. 14 deadline, schedules are subject to cancellation.

Financial Aid

- A minimum of six semester hours is required for financial aid. Please note: The last semester of the MBA program is only three semester hours.
Drop and add / withdrawing / cancellation
- Drop and add – Students have until midnight, Jan. 7, 2010 (Eastern Standard Time) to drop a course without fee liability. Students have until Feb. 18, 2010, to drop a course without receiving a grade.
- Withdrawing – Students have until Feb. 18, 2010, to withdraw without receiving a grade. Apr. 22, 2010 is the last day to officially withdraw from school. Contact Withdrawal Services at 850-644-1741.
- Cancellation – Students have until the fourth day of classes, Jan. 7, 2010, to request cancellation of their enrollment and have fees removed. Contact Registrar Office for cancellations.
- To drop a class after the fourth day of the semester, sign into Blackboard, click on Secure Apps and then select the Course Drop Tool.
Grade maintenance
- A graduate student is required to maintain a cumulative 3.0 grade point average.
- No course hours with a grade below "C-" will be credited on the graduate degree.
Retention Policy
The University retention policy for graduate students is: Students must maintain a 3.0 GPA in all course work taken at the graduate level. The University’s policy will be followed subject to the following conditions set by the College of Business:
Each student in a masters program, whether admitted as a regular or provisional student, may be subject to dismissal under the following circumstances:
- Whenever a student falls a total of 12 or more quality points below a 3.0 average; or
- 2.Obtaining a grade of “D” or “F” in any course, or two “C’s” in any one semester, regardless of cumulative grade point average. The grade of “IE” will be counted as an “F” and can be cause for dismissal.
