Support Area
A support area in finance consists of four courses. Three of these courses are: FIN 6804 (Foundations of Financial Theory I), FIN 5935 (Foundations of Financial Theory II), and FIN 6842 (Research Methods in Finance). The fourth course may be either FIN 6527 (Investments Seminar) or FIN 6449 (Corporate Seminar). A grade of B- or better must be earned in each course. The overall grade point average across the four courses must be at least 3.25. No overall exam is required.
