Gerald R. Ferris
Francis Eppes Professor of Management and Professor of Psychology
Ph.D. in business administration from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign
Dr. Ferris' research focuses on social influence in organizations, relationships at work, and reputation in organizational contexts.
Dr. Ferris is the author of numerous articles published in scholarly journals such as the Journal of Applied Psychology, Organizational Behavior and Human Decision Processes, Personnel Psychology, Academy of Management Journal, and Academy of Management Review, and applied journals such as the Academy of Management Executive, Human Resource Management, Human Resource Planning, and Organizational Dynamics. He founded, and served as editor of, the annual series, Research in Personnel and Human Resources Management, from 1981-2003. Dr. Ferris has been the recipient of a number of distinctions and honors. In 2001, he was the recipient of the Heneman Career Achievement Award, and in 2010, he was the recipient of the Thomas A. Mahoney Mentoring Award, both from the Human Resources Division of the Academy of Management.

Jack Fiorito
J. Frank Dame Professor of Management
Ph.D. in labor and industrial relations from the University of Illinois
Dr. Fiorito's research focuses on worker attitudes toward unions, employers, and work-related matters, and how unions function as organizations. His work on attitudes examines why workers join or don't join unions, their voting intentions in union representation elections, worker views of employment policies, and similar issues. His work on unions examines organizing strategies and tactics, union effectiveness, and related topics.
Dr. Fiorito's research has appeared in journals such as the Academy of Management Journal, Academy of Management Review, Journal of Management, Journal of Labor Research, the Labor Studies Journal, Industrial Relations, Industrial and Labor Relations Review, British Journal of Industrial Relations, Industrial Relations Journal, and American Journal of Political Science. He has co-edited two scholarly monographs, and currently serves as an associate editor for Industrial and Labor Relations Review. He also holds a part-time position at the University of Hertfordshire, England, as Principal Research Fellow.

Wayne A. Hochwarter
Jim Moran Professor of Management
Ph.D. in organizational behavior from Florida State University
Dr. Hochwarter's research focuses on the complexities of social interactions in organizations, including workplace politics, job stress, abusive employer-employee relationships, worker engagement, and contextual factors affecting worker attitudes and behaviors.
Dr. Hochwarter's research has appeared in journals such as Journal of Applied Psychology, Organizational Behavior and Human Decision Processes, Journal of Management, Journal of Vocational Behavior, Human Relations, and Journal of Organizational Behavior, as well as book chapters focusing on these topics.

Pamela Perrewe
The Haywood and Betty Taylor Eminent Scholar of Business Administration
Ph.D. in business administration from University of Nebraska
Dr. Perrewé's research focuses on job stress, burnout, coping, mentoring, organizational politics, emotion, and personality.
Dr. Perrewé has published several books, over 20 book chapters, and over 100 articles in journals such as the Academy of Management Journal, Journal of Management, Journal of Applied Psychology, Organizational Behavior and Human Decision Processes, Journal of Organizational Behavior, Journal of Vocational Behavior, Journal of Occupational Health Psychology, and Human Relations. She is the lead editor for Research in Occupational Stress and Well Being and an associate editor for Journal of Occupational Health Psychology. Dr. Perrewé is a fellow of the Southern Management Association, Society of Industrial and Organizational Psychology and American Psychological Association. She has received numerous awards for her research and teaching, including the Florida State University Distinguished Research Professor Award; Graduate Mentoring Award; and University Teaching Award.

Lee P. Stepina
Professor of Management and International Business
Ph.D. in business administration from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign
Dr. Stepina's research focuses on compensation, attraction, and retention of information technology professionals; turnover; organizational justice and grievance systems; management of nonprofit organizations; diversity; expatriate managers; and international and cross cultural management issues.
Dr. Stepina's research has appeared in journals such as the Academy of Management Journal, Journal of Organizational Behavior, Organizational Behavior and Human Decision Processes, International Journal of Psychology, Journal of Social Psychology, Journal of Labor Research, Journal of Managerial Issues, Industrial Relations, Journal of Cross Cultural Management, and Journal of Management Information Systems.

Chad H. Van Iddekinge
Synovus Associate Professor of Management
Ph.D. in industrial and organizational psychology from Clemson University
Dr. Van Iddekinge's research focuses on how organizations make staffing decisions, and the effects of those decisions on individual, team, and firm performance. Most of his work seeks to understand and improve how organizations select and promote employees. Examples of the types of research questions Dr. Van Iddekinge's research attempts to address include: What factors drive interviewers' judgments of applicants? Are social networking sites (e.g., facebook) appropriate to consider when making hiring decisions? What happens when applicants are given the opportunity to retake selection measures?
Dr. Van Iddekinge's research on these and related topics has appeared in journals such as the Academy of Management Journal, Human Performance, International Journal of Selection and Assessment, Journal of Applied Psychology, Journal of Business and Psychology, and Personnel Psychology. He currently is an associate editor of Personnel Psychology and serves on the editorial boards of Journal of Applied Psychology, Journal of Management, and Human Performance. Chad is a fellow of the Human Resources Research Organization (HumRRO).
