Recent Alumni Board
The College of Business Recent Alumni Board (RAB) is comprised of a select group of recent College of Business graduates who believe in promoting and assisting with the long-term strategic vision of the College of Business and The Florida State University. The RAB was created to strengthen the network between current COB students and those who have graduated within the past 15 years, by providing an outlet for engagement, relationships, and development.
The Recent Alumni Board’s main objective is to create and facilitate programs that encourage the continued interaction between current students and young professionals in the workforce from across the country. To accomplish this objective, the RAB has developed a Regional Representative Program. The RAB Regional Representative Program provides professional contacts for students who are transitioning to new cities and looking to expand their professional network as they start their career or pursue an internship. The RAB also hosts events each semester for current students with a focus on mentoring, networking, and professional development. By offering students additional resources to further their professional development and providing a venue for recent alumni to get involved with the College of Business, the RAB creates a mutually beneficial relationship that further promotes both the brand and prominence of the FSU College of Business.
In 2011, The Recent Alumni Board established the Recent Alumni Achievement Award to recognize College of Business alumni of the past ten years who have made significant professional and personal achievements in the years since graduation. The Recent Alumni Achievement Award will be presented annually at the Leadership & Scholarship Awards Dinner
