About Cathy Griffin
Cathy Griffin (FSU COB, Marketing ’78) leads her company, The Griffin Network, an executive recruitment, business development, marketing, and project management consulting firm leveraging Griffin's experience and contacts in entertainment, media, sports, consumer products, new media, communications, executive search and career management. A familiar speaker and panelist, Griffin worked as a guest reporter for local television and hosted her own radio show in New York City.

Before starting her own company, Griffin worked as a leading executive recruiter heading up the Sports Entertainment and Sports Consumer Products Practice for Korn/Ferry International and AT Kearney. Prior to entering the executive search field, Griffin spent 20 years in the business of television, new media, sports, publishing, consumer products, apparel/footwear, and entertainment industries.

About the Women in Business Conference
The Florida State University College of Business Student Leadership Council began Women in Business to promote an awareness of the dynamic role of women in today's business environment and to establish a forum for developing a critical discourse of that role. The organization serves as a developmental education and networking tool between students, faculty, staff and business professionals. Throughout the year, the organization hosts guest speakers, workshops, community service activities, and professional social activities to facilitate unique networking and learning opportunities.
