College of Business MBA program excels in rankings
U.S. News & World Report 2012 rankings place College of Business' MBA program among the best

Tallahassee, Fla. – For the second consecutive year U.S. News & World Report has ranked the Florida State University College of Business' Accelerated Master of Business Administration program among the best in the nation, placing the school at No. 50 among all public universities, No. 11 among all public schools in the Southeast and No. 94 among all 437 schools surveyed and tied for No. 1 among all programs of similar size.

FSU’s Accelerated MBA program is a one-year, on-campus program designed for students who are disciplined, organized and welcome fast-paced challenges. Students work with the same group of classmates from start to finish and are offered individual attention by world-renowned faculty with years of experience in industry and in the classroom. The College of Business’ MBA program also offers part-time online and on-campus options.

"We are very proud of our students, faculty and staff for our recent ranking in U.S. News & World Report," said Caryn L. Beck-Dudley, dean of the FSU College of Business. "Our ranking highlights our commitment to providing students a rich, collaborative educational experience and the principled leadership skills they need to excel in today’s business world."

The rankings, announced in the magazine’s annual “America's Best Graduate Schools” list, are calculated using two types of data: expert opinions about program quality and statistical indicators that measure student selectivity and placement success.

This year's rankings come from survey data of all 437 business master's programs accredited by AACSB International and surveys from more than 11,000 academics and professionals conducted in fall 2010 and early 2011.
