Community Service
Fall: Big Bend Heart Walk - The Big Bend Heart Walk is a community service event dedicated to helping prevent heart disease in America. It takes place each year in Tom Brown Park. Every year each member who attended walked for the 3 miles to raise money for the American Heart Association.

Spring: Relay for Life - Relay for Life is a very large event held during the spring semester (usually the end of March) at Mike Long Track on campus. This is an overnight event which proves to be a great experience year after year. We will provide additional information as we begin the Spring semester.
Socials
We like to have fun too! We sponsor group events so that all members learn to network and grow comfortable with one another, while learning how to interact with colleagues in an “outside of work” environment.

Dues & Benefits

By becoming a member of the International Business Association you will be entering a club which is dedicated to its members. We are an RSO, which means we can provide all of the benefits associated with being a registered organization at Florida State. In addition to the many professional and social advantages membership provides, our members also receive:

1. Member t-shirt - New members are given t-shirts when they pay their dues, (while supplies last). We will wear these shirts during IBA events including charity and fundraising events.

2. Resume List - Every member who pays dues will be placed in the resume booklet which will be handed out to each corporation we visit on our corporate tours. This is a great way of gaining exposure to corporations.

3. Mail List - You will be added to the mailing list which may contain internship opportunities and announcements.

4. Alumni Network - IBA is still a growing organization on campus, as such we have a small but very influential alumni network. Some of our alumni corporate relations include Goldman Sachs,Shell Gasoline, Bank of America, and Ernst and Young.

Dues this year are set at $35 for new members, and $25 dollars for returning members each semester.
