Board of GovernorsGive · Advise · AdvocateThe College of Business Board of Governors is organized to provide a framework for alumni of a common interest to meet formally or informally for educational, professional, and other alumni oriented purposes; to provide an advisory service to the College of Business and its alumni; and to stimulate continued interest in and financial support for the College of Business at Florida State University. The Board of Governors currently has two formal meetings during the academic year and sponsors such exciting activities as the Hall of Fame Awards Dinner and Ceremony and the Annual Alumni Weekend. Individual members also work closely with the College in organizing and hosting regional alumni events. As of spring 2006, a Student Advisory Board has been created to facilitate communications and further the goals of the College of Business and the Board of Governors. Consisting of eight discipline-specific business students, the Student Advisory Board will meet regularly and will also be included in all Alumni Board of Governors activities.
