Board of Governors
Give · Advise · Advocate
The College of Business Board of Governors is organized to provide a framework
for alumni of a common interest to meet formally or informally for educational,
professional, and other alumni oriented purposes; to provide an advisory service
to the College of Business and its alumni; and to stimulate continued interest
in and financial support for the College of Business at Florida State University.
The Board of Governors currently has two formal meetings during the academic year
and sponsors such exciting activities as the Hall of Fame Awards Dinner and Ceremony
and the Annual Alumni Weekend. Individual members also work closely with
the College in organizing and hosting regional alumni events.
In spring 2006, the Student Leadership Council was created to facilitate communications and further the goals of the College of Business and the Board of Governors. The Student Leadership Council is comprised of top students from each of the College's ten undergraduate degree programs. The SLC meets regularly and is also included in all Board of Governors activities.
