FSU Tour Professionals

In addition to the outstanding academics and research, Florida State is internationally recognized for its outstanding athletic programs. Men and women athletes from around the world attend Florida State and participate in the high quality athletic programs, which have reached new heights in many different sports. The athletic coaches, facilities and support staff have gained national prominence in several fields, and the Seminoles consistently have various athletes and athletic teams that rank in the top 10 nationally.

 

Numerous golf professionals have graduated from Florida State. Many of these golfers are currently managing golf facilities, while others have achieved national recognition on the professional golf tour by winning major PGA or LPGA tour events. The Florida State graduates who have won major tournament championships include Paul Azinger, Barb Bunkowski, Jane Geddes, Hubert Green, Nolan Henke, Kenny Knox, Jeff Sluman, Karen Stuppers, Colleen Walker, and Lisa Walters.
