Steve Perfect Bio

Steve Perfect is the Senior Director of Option Trading at Florida Power and Light Energy Power Marketing, Inc. Steve is a CFA with over 15 years experience in the field of finance. His experience includes derivative pricing, forward curve development, risk management, deal structuring, full requirements modeling and asset optimization. Prior to working in the energy industry, Steve was a tenured professor in the finance department at Florida State. He holds a B.S. in Physics from Oklahoma State University, an MBA in Finance and a Ph.D. in Finance from the University of Texas at Austin. He has published in Financial Management, Financial Analysts Journal, Journal of Banking and Finance, Journal of Derivatives, and Journal of Empirical Finance.
