Donate Your FSU College of Business Memorabilia

Preserving the history of the Florida State University requires commitments from many individuals and organizations. Through an initiative called Heritage Protocol, FSU has committed resources to preserve its proud heritage. Now, you have an opportunity to play a major role in this preservation.

Many items that were once used everyday on campus are now treasured memorabilia in homes of alumni, former faculty and staff, and their families. If you have memorabilia (artifacts or documents) you would like to share with the University for exhibits (either through donation or loan), please complete the College of Business Memorabilia Donation form.

Here are five questions to ask yourself about a possible memorabilia item.

  1. Does it typify an era in institutional history?
  2. Does it involve or explain a basic change in institutional policy or direction?
  3. Does it relate to a happening or occurrence that will be of interest in 25 years or more?
  4. Does it relate to a person of note?
  5. Does it evoke a special emotional response?

Some memorabilia to consider are: documents, papers, letters, maps, books, tapes, photographs, films, sound recordings or other materials regardless of physical form or characteristic that are made or received in connection with the educational or administrative activities of the College.
