Marketing Major

Program Overview:

Students may choose their marketing electives to complete one of the following concentrations:
(Completing a concentration is not required.)

  1. Service Operations: To complete this concentration, students must take MAR 4840, Service Marketing, and three marketing electives.


  2. Supply Chain Management: To complete this concentration, students must take MAR 3461, Principles of Purchasing, MAR 4203, Logistics and Supply Chain Management, and two marketing electives.


  3. Sales and Customer Relationship Management: To complete this concentration, students must take MAR 4403, Sales Management, MAR 4860, Customer Relationship Management, and two marketing electives.

The Marketing major is a limited access program. To be admitted to the Marketing major, a student must meet the admission requirements for limited access programs in business. These requirements are described in a separate handout titled Admission Requirements for College of Business Limited Access Programs.
