Join the MBA Association
Want some fun with your finance? Got some good ideas on raising money? Do you want to make a difference while earning your degree? Then join the MBA Association and put your ideas into action. The association is registering new full-time MBA members through Wednesday.
The $40 annual dues payment includes a locker rental in the master’s computer lab. Register by filling out the MBAA Registration Form found in COB Graduate Student Organization in Blackboard. Give the form and payment to Ryan Dietz, MBAA president, or Chris Grunewald, MBAA treasurer. Keep posted for new plans for part-time and online MBAA membership, Dietz said.
Dietz encourages all MBAs to bring their social, service and fund-raising ideas to this week’s meeting, 3:45 p.m. Wednesday in Starry Conference Room, 214 Rovetta Business Building. Come see how you can immediately get involved. “Everyone’s time is valuable, so we will be efficient – as always,” Dietz said.

Two groups have been created on Facebook to facilitate FSU MBAs networking: “FSU MBA Class of 2008” and “FSU MBA Class of 2009.” Be warned: Potential employers will check facebook profiles. Myrna Hoover of the FSU Career Center will offer resume writing tips as the summer “Get a Job” series continues at 12:30 p.m. next Wednesday, June 11, in 108 Rovetta Business Annex.
