Industry Advisory Board
The MIS Department works with an Industry Advisory Council (IAC) to obtain
feedback on the success of its graduates in the workplace. The IAC provides advice
and counsel to the department chair and faculty on the program curricula and
the desired profile of graduates.
The IAC comprises leading firms that have a long-term interest in the success
of the department. These firms have chosen to maintain this close relationship
with the MIS Department because of their success in recruiting graduates from
the MIS program, because they like the results of their recruiting efforts, and
because they expect to continue to hire graduates from FSU.
