Mr. Evan Jennings has been in commercial real estate specializing in multifamily housing since 1976. Headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia, Mr. Jennings is president and owner of Jennings Partners, Inc., The Condo Group LLC, Green Pastures, Inc., JPI Holdings, and founder and retired President and CEO of The Apartment Group Inc., a division of Cushman & Wakefield, Inc. Mr. Jennings is Chairman of RentBureau, LLC, a specialized Consumer Reporting Agency (CRA) providing multifamily rental payment data to the apartment industry.
The Apartment Group. Inc. was founded as a regional multifamily brokerage company in 1990. In February 2001 Mr. Jennings negotiated a merger and sale to Cushman & Wakefield, Inc. The merger resulted in the formation of The Apartment Group, LLC which gave the company a platform for national expansion. The Apartment Group specializes in the brokerage of multi-family apartment communities throughout the United States with twenty-two (22) offices nationwide. During his 27 year brokerage career Mr. Jennings personally negotiated and closed over $3 billion in multi-family apartment transactions.
During his career Mr. Jennings has purchased, renovated and sold numerous apartment communities for his own account, developed and built new apartment communities, redeveloped “historic” buildings for adaptive re-use as loft housing and converted and sold $270,000,000.00 of condominiums in Georgia and Florida.
Mr. Jennings serves as Director on the FSU Real Estate
Program Executive Advisory Board. He received a Bachelor of Science
degree from Florida State University in 1966 and served in the United
States Army Reserve from 1966-1972.
