Officers
A group of officers is elected by the doctoral student body each year. These
officers present opinions and suggestions to the Associate Dean for Graduate
Programs and receive and disseminate information from the College to doctoral
students. This information flow includes both college-related matters, as well
as, information on job opportunities and availability of financial grants. New
doctoral students are encouraged to become active in the DBSA. The experience
with DBSA adds an important dimension to the doctoral program at Florida State
University, and demonstrates students' commitment to service in addition to their
focus on research and teaching. The current officers for the 2008-2009 academic
year are:
- President: Frank Butler, Strategic Management Doctoral Candidate
- Vice President: Tim Munyon, 2nd Year OB/HR Doctoral Student
- Vice President: Laci Rogers, 1st Year OB/HR Doctoral Student
- Treasurer: Ansley Chua, Finance Doctoral Candidate
- Secretary: Denise Breaux, 2nd Year OB/HR Doctoral Student
