This academic map is a term-by-term sample course schedule. The milestones listed to the right of each term are designed to keep you on-course to graduate in four years. To remain a business intent student, you must achieve or surpass the milestones at the end of each term. If you fail to satisfy these milestones for two consecutive terms, you will not be allowed to continue as a business intent student. The Sample Schedule serves as a general guideline to help you build a full schedule each term and may use categories of courses such as LS Course for a Liberal Studies course. The Liberal Studies and elective courses must be selected to satisfy all area, literature, lab, Gordon Rule, and multicultural requirements.

All the majors in Business are limited-access majors. To be admitted to a business major, you must have completed at least 52 hours, have earned a "C-" or better in the Admission Prerequisite Courses (CGS2100, ECO2013, ECO2023, MAC2233, ACG2021, & STA2023), and have the required overall GPA. When you complete the business admission requirements, you will be able to choose one of the following majors: accounting, finance, hospitality administration, professional golf management, management, human resource management, management information systems, marketing, real estate, risk management/insurance, entrepreneurship, or multinational/international business operations.

Note: If you plan to major in accounting, you are not required to take ACG 2071. If you plan to major in multinational/international business, you must use your electives to complete a foreign language through the 2200 level. If you plan to major in professional golf management, you must contact the PGM Director in the Dedman School of Hospitality as soon as you arrive on campus.
