  • Information for Lower-Division Business Intent Students

    During your first 60 hours (two years) as a business student, you should focus on three types of course work:

    • Courses satisfying the university-wide liberal studies and multicultural requirements;

    • Business prerequisite courses; and

    • Electives.

    In addition, you must make sure you satisfy the milestones contained in the Business Intent Academic Map each semester. By satisfying these milestones, you will be making appropriate progress toward entering any of the upper-division business majors. If you do not satisfy these milestones, you will not be able to remain a business student.
