Eligibility Requirements for College of Business Undergraduate Scholarships

Applicants must have completed all the requirements for admission to an upper-division business major by the end of the Spring term to be considered for an award.

Scholarships are open to all business majors unless specifically restricted to specific majors as indicated below.

You must be a full-time undergraduate business major in both semesters of the academic year to receive an award.

College of Business Achievement Scholarships
($1,500)
  • Must have completed at least 24 semester hours of upper-level business courses prior to the beginning of the awards period.
  • Must have at least a 3.5 FSU GPA
  • Must be a U.S. citizen.
  • The primary selection criteria shall be academic excellence.
Bank of America Scholarships
($1,500)
  • Must have a FSU GPA of at least a 3.0.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen.
  • The primary selection criteria shall be academic excellence and involvement in campus activities.
E. Ray Solomon Scholarships
($1,500)
  • Must be a U.S. citizen.
  • Demonstration of academic and professional promise.
  • Quantity and quality of involvement in extracurricular activities both within the university community and the community-at-large.
Martin Mayhew Scholarships
($1,250)
  • Must be African American, a U.S. citizen, & a Florida resident.
  • Must have competitive GPA.
  • Must have financial need.
  • Preference will be given to North Florida residents.
Darden Restaurants Scholarships
($1,000)
  • Must be an accounting or finance major.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen.
  • Preference will be given to non-traditional students and students who come from an economically disadvantaged background.
W. David Ellrich, Jr. Scholarship
($1,000)
  • Must be a U.S. citizen.
  • Must have a GPA of 3.2 or higher.
  • Preference will be given to students who come from an disadvantaged background, including those of African-American, Hispanic, or other ethnic minority descent.
Jim King Scholarships
($1,000)
  • Must be a U.S. citizen.
  • Must have a GPA of 3.2 or higher
  • The primary selection criteria are academic excellence and involvement in extracurricular activities.
Joseph A. Gangloff Scholarship
($1,000)
  • Must have a cumulative FSU GPA of 2.5 overall or 3.0 in major.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen.
  • Preference will be given to Escambia County, Florida residents.
Willie Le Hall Johnson Scholarships
($1,000)
  • Must be majoring in Management or Marketing.
  • Recipients must have an overall FSU GPA of at least 3.0.
  • Selection of recipients will be based academic achievement.
Owens Scholarship
($1,000)
  • Must be a U.S. citizen.
  • Must have a GPA of 3.2 or higher
  • The primary selection criteria are academic excellence and involvement in extracurricular activities.
Herb Morgan Scholarships
($500)
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Must have a FSU GPA of at least 2.5.
  • Demonstrate academic promise.
  • Be involved in extracurricular activities both with the university community and the community-at-large.
Lena Meyer Gustavson Scholarships
($500)
  • Must have a GPA of 3.2 or higher.
  • The primary selection criteria are academic excellence and involvement in extracurricular activities.
  • Preference will be given to women.

  • Must have a GPA of 3.2 or higher.
  • The primary selection criteria are academic excellence and involvement in extracurricular activities.
